Sewyers Shipping Policy

At Sewyers, every piece is handcrafted with precision and care. To ensure your jewelry arrives safely, we use tracked or Non Tracked shipping methods for all domestic and international orders.
1. Order Processing Times
• Handmade to Order: All pieces are processed in the order they are received.
• Timeline: Please allow 2–7 business days for your order to be crafted and prepared before it is handed to the carrier.
• Peak Periods: Processing times may be extended during holidays, collection restocks, or high-volume sales. We do not ship on weekends or Canadian statutory holidays.
2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on the total weight of your order and your delivery destination. A $2.00 handling fee is included in all shipping rates to cover protective packaging and insurance for your beadwork.

Canada - Tracked/Non Tracked / Expedited Parcel - 2–10 Business Days
United States - Tracked/Non Tracked Packet USA - 4–12 Business Days
International - Tracked/Non Tracked Packet International - 6–21 Business Days
Note: Delivery times are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed.
3. International Duties & Taxes (No Surprises)
Sewyers ships from Alberta, Canada. To provide a seamless experience for our international customers, we offer Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) shipping to the USA, UK, European Union, Australia, and New Zealand.
• Payment at Checkout: All applicable import taxes, customs duties, and fees are calculated and collected at the time of checkout.
• No Additional Fees: By paying these fees upfront, your package will be delivered directly to your door without any "surprise" invoices from the carrier or customs office.
• Artisan Origin: Because Sewyers jewelry is handcrafted in Canada, it may qualify for reduced duty rates under international trade agreements (like CETA). These savings are automatically applied at checkout.
4. Tracking & Delivery
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number. Note that not all packages receive a tracking number
• It is the customer’s responsibility to monitor the tracking.
• Not all packages include step-by-step tracking
• Sewyers is not responsible for packages marked as "Delivered" by the carrier that are subsequently lost or stolen. 5. Incorrect Address & Returned Packages
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout.
• If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address or failure to collect the package from the post office, the customer is responsible for the original shipping fee and the cost of reshipping the item.
• Original shipping fees and pre-paid duties are non-refundable for returned packages.
6. Cancellations & Modifications
Because we begin preparing your handmade order shortly after it is placed, we cannot cancel or alter orders once processing has begun.
